Asim F. Zaman

Asim Zaman is a project engineer at CAIT.  He has expertise in rail engineering, safety, and data analysis. His research focuses on development of AI and edge computing algorithms and hardware for railroad applications.   He received his M.S. in railroad engineering and received the Dwight D. Eisenhower Transportation Fellowship in 2020 for his research using Artificial Intelligence to detect trespassing in the railroad industry.  Asim previously worked for New Jersey Department of Transportation as a senior engineer and has over 6 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management.
