1977-1992 with CSX predecessor Chessie System Railroad in Grafton, W. VA 1992 Joined Enviodyne Engineers in Chicago, an AECOM predecessor, then HDR and TranSystem.
1999 served as CSXT’s Project Manager for the Chicago Area Conrail Integration.
2004-2021 owner Kimicata Rail Consulting, Inc. to provide railroad services to industries, railroads, public agencies, and other consultants.
Currently a parttime freelance consultant.
AREMA member since 1991 and Committee 24 since 2002,
Author, editor, and/or presenter of selected material within AREMA’s Introduction to Practical Railroad Engineering and TADS, U Wisconsin Intermodal Yards and Terminals Seminar, and Illinois Institute of Technology’s.
Registered Professional Engineer in IL, IN, IO, OH, MI, and PA
Also, a ski instructor and a lacrosse and football referee.
