Duane Otter is a scientist for Transportation Technology Center, Inc. in Pueblo Colorado, serving there since 1989. His work has included field testing and analytical modeling of railway track and bridge structures, operations, and vehicle/track interaction. He is an active member of AREMA Committees 8, 9, and 15. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado, earned his bachelor's degree from Calvin University, and doctorate in civil engineering from the University of Michigan.
