Jeff Knueppel is the Corporate Transit Practice Leader for KCI Technologies, Inc., providing expert guidance to rail and transit agencies in engineering, operations, and management. He joined KCI after serving for 32 years with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), the nation’s sixth largest transit agency. He joined SEPTA as an entry level structural engineer, rose to become Chief Engineer at the age of 36, and ultimately led the agency as its tenth General Manager from 2015 to the end of 2019. Jeff earned BS and MS degrees in civil engineering from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York.
