Dr. Green is a Project Manager for railroad projects with Michael Baker International. Prior to this, he worked for the CN Railway, and then for consulting engineering firms as a Project Manager, a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, and Track Designer, having more than 25 years of experience in Civil Engineering, primarily in railroading, but including projects with highways, traffic studies, parking facilities, and traffic signals. He is a Part-time Professor for California State University – Fresno. He has authored 12 publications. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (Civil) in five states. Dr. Green has planned, led, and taught 17 three-day seminars on behalf of AREMA. Dr. Green is a Past President of the Illinois Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Also, he is the current Vice Chairperson of AREMA Committee 24, and a member of AREMA Committee 17.
