Dr. Palese is a Senior Scientist and Program Manager: Railroad Engineering and Safety Program at the University of Delaware. Throughout his 30 year career, Dr. Palese has focused on acquiring and utilizing large amounts of track component condition data for planning railway maintenance activities through development of new inspection technologies and analytic software. Dr. Palese has a Bachelor’s and PhD of Civil Engineering, from the University of Delaware, along with a MBA from Rowan University, and is a registered professional engineer in the state of NJ.
