Ken W. Hanson

Ken Hanson has over thirty-five (35) years in the construction industry.
Eleven (11) years performing construction oversite prior to joining Amtrak in 1997. During those years he worked on infrastructure projects line the reconstruction of I-76, the Schuylkill Expressway, in Philadelphia as well as numerous others.
After joining Amtrak in 1997 he worked at various positions within the Northeast Corridor such as Project Manager I&C Projects, Senior Engineer B&B, Assistant Division Engineer as well as Principal Officer Major Projects.
Has been with the HNTB Corporation for the last eight and a half (8 ½) on various infrastructure rehabilitation projects like the Lindenwold Track and Viaduct Rehabilitation as well as the PATCO/DRPA Benjamin Franklin Bridge railroad rehabilitation. He has managed various other projects during his tenure such as the Amtrak Concrete Tie Inspection Project, the Amtrak Track Foreman Mentoring Project and currently the Amtrak CM/CI Contract on the NEC south.
