Michael is Project Manager, Construction for the HNTB Corporation. He is responsible for coordinating construction projects among Amtrak engineering disciplines and third-party contractors along the Northeast Corridor. Michael joined HNTB one year ago and prior to that was General Superintendent at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority where he was responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and rehabilitating all revenue and yard tracks as well as aerial structures, bridges, retaining walls and tunnels. He was also responsible for coordinating and executing all field operations for Metro’s Safe Track Program. He holds many railroad, transit, and safety certifications from various Department of Transportation institutes.
