Michael Yates is currently a Project Manager of Rail Systems for HNTB Corporation. He graduated from RPI with a BS in Civil and spent 2 years in construction inspection prior to joining HNTB as an entry level Track Design Engineer.  Over the course of his 12 years of tenure at HNTB, he has served as drafter, designer, design lead, project manager, and design manager during construction on several large projects.  He holds a masters in construction management from Northeastern University and the title of Professional Engineer in MA (current residence) and CT.
