Scott is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with BGC Engineering, Inc. in Golden, Colorado. He has more than 35 years of experience as a researcher, professor, consultant and as a representative of the US Federal Highway Administration, where he was instrumental in bringing geotechnical asset management into consideration and practice. He is the founding co-chair of the Transportation Research Boards Section Subcommittee AKG00(1) on Geotechnical Asset Management.
