Mr. Lorek is the Railroad Division Manager for Alfred Benesch in the Cincinnati, OH office. He has over 23 years of experience in the inspection, design, and construction of various types of railroad structures and rail infrastructure projects.  He has a comprehensive railroad and transit engineering experience including asset management, maintenance programming, and capital investment planning.  Mr. Lorek is currently the Chairman of American Railway Engineering and Maintenance of Way Association (AREMA) Committee 15 – Steel Structures and is the lead instructor for the AREMA Steel Bridge Load Rating Seminar.  He has a Civil Engineering degree from Purdue University and is a professional engineer in multiple states.
