Ted Sussmann is a Civil Engineer at the U.S. DOT Volpe Center and Associate Professor and Graduate Program Coordinator at the University of Hartford.  Ted focuses on geotechnical infrastructure issues with an emphasis on railroad engineering.  Ted is cochair of Transportation Research Board committee on Railway Infrastructure Design and Maintenance and is co-author of the book Railway Geotechnics.
